Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is the third property in the prestigious Ritz-Carlton Reserve collection. Those wishing to explore historical landmarks will enjoy Goa Gajah, a cave built in the 9th century as a sanctuary, now more commonly known as “Elephant Temple”. Tradition also abounds at Penglipuran Village, where kings and royals once frequented for entertainment. Yet another exhilarating adventure prevails at Pura Besakih (Mother Temple of Besakih), widely known as the largest and holiest temple of Hindu religion in Bali. The temple is perched nearly 1,000 meters up the side of Gunung Agung in the village of Besakih in eastern Bali. 

Tirta Empul Temple of Holy Spring
Built in 926 AD, this iconic temple is famous for its purifying holy water, which attracts devotees, particularly during full and new moons, who come for blessings. Appointments for this once-in-a-lifetime experience can be arranged through your personal butler. 

Kecak Fire Trance Dance
This theatrical Balinese dance and drama, developed in the 1930s, brings together at least 100 men who tell stories through their movements, chants and voices.
