Ideally situated on Huruvalhi Island in Raa Atoll, within easy reach of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll, The Standard, Maldives welcomes guests with a scenic 35-minute seaplane transfer from Velana International Airport, setting the tone for an unforgettable island escape. Seaplane transfers are operated by Trans Maldivian Airways (TMA), with travel times occasionally extended due to additional resort stops along the route. Upon arrival in Malé, guests will be greeted by a resort representative who will assist with check-in and transfer arrangements. Seaplane departures are typically scheduled within one hour of guests clearing immigration and customs, although delays may occur due to weather conditions, flight schedules, or other operational factors. For added comfort, all guests with a confirmed room reservation at the resort are entitled to access the Seaplane Lounge, which offers refreshments, light snacks, complimentary Wi-Fi, and air-conditioned seating while awaiting departure. As transfer schedules are subject to weather and operational conditions beyond the control of TMA and the resort, departure times may occasionally change without prior notice.
