Hyatt Regency Hakone Resort and Spa is a resort hotel located on an elevated site in Gora, one of Hakone’s most popular areas. Despite being only about 90 minutes from central Tokyo, the hotel is surrounded by abundant nature and a tranquil environment, offering guests an ideal retreat from the bustle of city life.2 3In terms of accessibility, the most common route is to travel to Odawara Station by Shinkansen or the Odakyu Romancecar, and then continue to Gora Station via the Hakone Tozan Railway. The hotel is conveniently located near Gora Station and provides a shuttle service, allowing guests traveling by public transportation to arrive with ease. In addition, shuttle service is also available from Odawara Station, making the resort highly accessible from the Tokyo metropolitan area.

Relax in the guest rooms with balconies and a sun terrace where you can enjoy nature and the changing seasons.

All 80 rooms range in size from 56 to 93 square meters, and all have a sun terrace or balcony, so you can enjoy the resort and the nature outside as well. Based on the concept of "My Home in Hakone," we will provide warm service and a relaxing stay that makes you feel at home. All rooms are nonsmoking. Only the room category named “Dog Friendly” accommodates a dogs.

Ideal location for company retreats and small business meetings

We offer two function rooms that can be used for corporate and group off-site meetings, executive meetings, presentations, and other internal and external events in a natural environment. The Hakone Room features natural colors and a view of the Hakone somma rim outside the window. The Drawing Room is a calm space with the warmth of wood, and has a wall-mounted TV monitor, making it suitable for a variety of arrangements, including meetings and cocktail parties. We also have a private dining room featuring a sophisticated interior, fireplace and calm atmosphere while looking out at the courtyard.
