Nestled in the 788-acres of scenic and lush surroundings of IOI Resort City,this 28-year resort was born from a rich rubber plantation land where astunning 27-hole golf course was built. The hotel was initially constructedas a serviced apartment to complement the booming golf club. However,when the Government announced that the adjacent Putrajaya was tobecome Malaysia’s new administrative center, our late owner Tan Sri LeeShin Cheng had the foresight to convert the service apartment into a151-room hotel. Which explains for the spacious and unique structure ofthe hotel rooms. Known as the Tree Whisperer and building his empire onpalm oil, late Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng naturally loved the Palm tree andthus Renaissance Palm Garden Hotel was born in 1995 alongside theexisting Palm Garden Golf Club. With late Tan Sri Lee’s success in Palm Oiland Property Development, he was always passionate of his roots andwonderful moments of his days in the palm estate. It was evident that palmtrees would be a main fauna planted profusely in the lush grounds of IOIResort City.
