On 20 December 2021, Palm Garden Hotel joined Marriott Bonvoy Hotels and Resorts as a fully managed hotel, branded as Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The property underwent a major transformation in 2023 and re-opened again on 1 November 2023 as a reimagined boutique hotel catering for modern mavericks with a blend of local culture and modernity.   Nestled in the 788-acres of scenic and lush surroundings of IOI Resort City, this 31-year resort was born from a rich rubber plantation land where a stunning 27-hole golf course was built. The hotel was initially constructed as a serviced apartment to complement the booming golf club. However when the Government announced that the adjacent Putrajaya was to become Malaysia’s new administrative center, our late owner Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng had the foresight to convert the serviced apartment into a 151-room hotel. Which explains for the spacious and unique structure of the hotel rooms. Known as the Tree Whisperer and building his empire from palm oil, late Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng naturally loved the palm tree and thus Renaissance Palm Garden Hotel was born in 1995 alongside the existing Palm Garden Golf Club. With late Tan Sri Lee’s success in Palm Oil and Property Development, he was always passionate of his roots and wonderful moments of his days in the palm estate. It was evident that palm trees would be a main fauna planted profusely in the lush grounds of IOI Resort City.

Discover the delights of one of Southeast Asia’s best cuisine, the Baba-Nyonya or Peranakan cuisine at Madam Lee Nyonya Private Dining with its own building adjacent to the hotel’s Rafflesia Ballroom. The semi fine-dining outlet serves Peranakan cuisine in wonderful flavors. After your meal, you can head out to Baba Bar, the aesthetic bar that serves up a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Capacity - 80 persons

Courtyard is another cafe offering comfortable seating in a breezy al fresco temperament, an epitome of relaxation, surrounded by delightful water features. Capacity – 80 persons
