Design Concept
Shangri-La Nanning is designed by the renowned Canadian design firm Studio Munge, Cheng Chung Design, and Japanese design firm Nao Taniyama & Associates. The design is inspired by the rich artistry and craftsmanship of the local Zhuang culture. Our design concepts tastefully blend the urban elements into the experiential features and spatial organization of a traditional courtyard mansion for a perfect marriage between Zhuang culture and Green City Nanning. Shangri-La Nanning aesthetically redefines memories of the past with modern embellishments.

Shangri-La Nanning, scheduled to open in Q4 of 2021, is located in Nanning's central business district; it is an integral part of the City's high-end commercial complex, CR Centre.
Located in the very heart of Nanning, this 88-storey hotel is connected to the comprehensive the MixC shopping mall, where you can browse through high-end branded stores, a wide selection of restaurants, bars, and cafes, and many entertainment options readily available to you. Shangri-La Nanning offers 320 modern and stylish rooms and suites. The rooms range in size from 45 to 65 sqm, with suites up to 239 sqm. Floor-to-ceiling windows open to the stunning views of Qingxiu Mountain and Folk Song Lake. The guest rooms are located from Level 72 to Level 88, overlooking the Nanning skyline from more than 300 meters above the ground: enjoy a panoramic view of the bustling city "in the clouds".
The hotel also features "Ganlan Culture" themed LOFT suites, which is inspired by the unique Zhuang architecture "Ganlan" (stilt houses). In this suite, every detail shows respect and pays homage to the ethnic culture. As the guest steps in, they are greeted with an antique-style Zhuang motif staircase, ready to take them on an immersive journey into the authentic local narrative and embrace the beauty of a Ganlan wooden house and the magnificently vibrant Zhuang countryside style.
