As accor's first Fairmont brand resort in China, Fairmont Sanya Haitang Bay combines traditional Chinese architectural culture, totem culture and wood culture in its design and planning.On the east-west axis, with Wuzhizhou Island as the case and Dalin Mountain as the screen, the mountain, lake, sea and island will be formed into a straight line, in line with the Geomantic concept of the Chinese people, it is the windy water.Architectural form using the arch faced China architectural elements during tang and song dynasties, at the same time into the jiangnan "small bridge, flowing water, somebody else's" building concept, using the red sandalwood, sour branch, nanmu, such as rare rare wood 3000 tons, with the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative work - dongyang woodcarving as technology means, the arts and crafts master Lu Guangzheng in the asia-pacific region is responsible for the creative design, use of auspicious patterns, themes, such as historical allusions and combination of western oil painting and modern artificial lighting technology, make hotel with modern traditional culture of the temple.The hotel also built a number of ancient buildings, such as Duyuesheng Residence (wood art Museum), Pavilion, Liren Bridge, and Shikumen, giving the hotel a sense of historical and cultural precipitation, so that guests can enjoy a cultural feast in addition to attending the conference and leisure.

Dragon Boat Sightseeing. A unique,1,200-metre seawater river runs around the buildings. The dragon boat welcomes the guests. On the canal, scene will change at every step. A “must try” for in-house guests. Wood Art Museum. The entrance is through a 250-year-old stone bridge built in the Qing Dynasty named “Li Ren”. The museum is housed in a century-old Shanghai-style mansion previously owned by Mr. Du Yue-sheng. The museum has a collection of furniture from the Qing and Ming Dynasties together with wood components from ancient architecture. The museum was shipped from Shanghai and is an ideal venue for intimate weddings, corporate events, private parties or exhibitions. It can accommodate up to 40 persons and is available by special arrangement only.
