Overlooking Tongan Bay and set along the Huandong West coastline, the breath taking oceanfront property brings a new sense of discovery and creative design to traditional fishing village at Renaissance Xiamen Resort & Spa. Soaring ceilings in the lobby evoke Xiamen's seascapes, while a modernist art installation of steel and shimmering glass reimagines flying kites, the centuries-old pastime of the region's fishermen. In the signature R bar, sail-shaped silhouettes hang in mid-air, as if ready to catch the winds. At the Studio reception area, stout ropes like those which once moored mighty seagoing vessels are displayed across the ceiling. In the guest rooms, design elements celebrate the art of travel, and the origins of Xiamen as the birthplace of overseas Chinese history. A nightstand whimsically resembles a vintage suitcase. A Nanyang-style carved latticework screen serves as a room divider. Its trellis motif reappears on the bathroom mirrors and carpet; the subtle, exquisite detail gracefully unifying the elegantly-appointed space.

Our guests could take advantage of easy access to major attractions and transportation stations. It is approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Gaoqi International Airport and Xiamen North Train Station.

Renaissance Xiamen Resort & Spa features 200 well-appointed guestrooms, including seven luxurious villas. All accommodations offer an ocean- or pool-view balcony and minimum of 60 sq.m. Within walking distance is a pristine white sand beach. The resort also offers four innovative dining options to delight food lovers. The on-property discovery platform "Evenings at Renaissance" program lets guests activate the ‘5-to-9’ evening time with as much vigor as guests spend their ‘9 to 5’.
