Since its opening in 1988, Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas has showcased the most sophisticated hotel culture and services in Korea. Beginning with the 24th Summer Olympic Games in 1988, the hotel has successfully hosted a series of global events at their headquarters accommodation, including the ASEM Summit in 2000, the G20 Seoul Summit in 2010 and the Nuclear Security Summit in 2012.

With 15 banquet halls of various sizes, Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas provides optimal services for events such as conventions, international events and weddings. The Grand Ball Room, in particular, is the largest among five-star hotels in Korea and is fully equipped with simultaneous interpretation services in eight languages, video conferencing facilities, Internet, computers, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems and large screens. The small- and medium-sized banquet halls in the Parnas Tower which opened in 2016 offer a stunning view of the Gangnam Tehran Street (Teheran-ro).
