The Jing-Zhang high-speed rail is under construction, which is expected to open Donghuayuan station in 2019. At that time, it takes only about 25 minutes from Beijing to Huailai, and about 25 minutes from Zhangjiakou to Huailai. The shuttle bus from Bejing to Huailai is depart every 30 minutes. And there are 7 trains from Beijing to Huailai railway station. Zhangjiakou domestic airline sends 42 flights to major cities every week, and it averages about 6 classes per day. There are 14 flights  from major cities to Zhangjiakou per week and it  averages about 8 classes per day.
