Opened to the public in 2005, the Kempinski Hotel Dalian (Dalian Kaibinsiji Fandian) is situated in a prime location close to the famous "Qing Ni Wa" commercial district, opposite Labor Park, the largest park in the city. It is only 5 minutes' drive from Dalian Railway Station and 20 minutes drive from Dalian International Airport. It comprises a 25-story deluxe Grand Wing and a 31-story standard Park Wing.

The Kempinski Hotel Dalian has 400 well-appointed rooms and suites. All 149 spacious rooms in the Grand Wing are equipped with LCD screen TVs and bathroom facilities imported from Switzerland. Rooms in the hotel have either a view of Labor Park or of the city.

An Executive Lounge is available on the 22nd floor and provides a modern city view, serving breakfast, all-day refreshments, coffee, tea and evening cocktails. A computer workstation is designed especially for all business executives staying on the Executive Floor.

The hotel offers a total of over 1, 000 sq m (1, 196 sq yd) of meeting and banquet space including a 580 sq m (598 sq yd) ballroom divisible into three sections, along with eight other function rooms of various dimensions.
