Location & Access
Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and Spa, Yanuca, Fiji, is located approximately 45 minutes by road where you will get a glimpse in the lives of the locals as you drive past villages and small townships, a beautiful scenic countryside journey from Nadi International Airport.
Surroundings
Fiji is a blend of fascinating ancient cultures, with tranquil villages nestled off the beaten path. Rituals such as the kava ceremony are enacted as they have been for centuries, and visitors are welcomed as honoured guests.There are two major islands in the group: Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. Shangri-La's Fijian Resort and Spa, Yanuca, Fiji, is located on the western side of Viti Levu. A short causeway connects our private island to the main island, making for easy day trips to explore this treasure of the South Pacific.

Activities & Leisure
The resort’s natural golden-sand beaches are pristine, and the deepwater lagoon is unaffected by the tides. There are also three refreshing swimming pools. At Marau Village, Polynesian dance performances and knife and fire dancing shows by the Shangri-La Fijian Firedancers culminate with the Fijian Beqa firewalkers showcasing their mystical art. Explore the lush natural landscape of Fiji on foot, when you go for a morning or afternoon walk around the island. Parasailing, snorkelling, game fishing, golf, jetski safaris are just a few of the activities offered by the resort. Learn to dive at the Resort Dive centre or if you explore the depths of the pristine waters and deepwater lagoons of Yanuca Island. The only water park on Fiji's Coral Coast, measuring 25 metres by 25 metres, featuring a rodeo slide, monkey bars, wiggle bridge and action tower.Adding to our already vast array of land- and water-based activities, our water park, located in our pristine lagoon, provides hours of fun for the whole family. Access to the water park is restricted to guests ages 7 and older, and is available for registered hotel guests only.
