Hotel presentation
At the confluence of culture and business in the heart of Vietnam’s bustling capital, Grand Mercure Hanoi is an authentic, immersive experience steeped in chic contemporary style and sophistication. With culturally immersive experiences and flavours for the most discerning guests, the hotel is home to two restaurants, a lobby lounge, a rooftop bar with a glass-walled swimming pool, a lush spa, a sleek executive lounge, and several meetings and event spaces, including a beautiful, naturally-lit Grand Ballroom, making this five-star offer from Accor as practical as it is refined.
Meticulously designed to reflect Vietnamese culture and heritage, impressive architecture, subtle motifs, and characterful local style deliver a uniquely soulful experience. With rice as the main inspiration, starting at the grand entryway and peppered throughout the hotel, richly coloured pottery, handmade lacquerware, clever design patterns, delicate ceramics, and grand architecture combine to impart small and mighty details that are both tasteful and refined.
Meeting Facilities
The meeting room facilities at Grand Mercure Hanoi are as flexible as they are plentiful. At 324 sqm, the Grand Ballroom, Tràng An, boasts a wall of windows and natural light and hosts up to 250 people. Soundproofed for privacy with state-of-the-art sound and screens, weddings, celebrations, meetings, and presentations have never been more manageable.
Separately, Đông Đô 1 and 2 are 30 sqm each, accommodating for 30 and 20 guests, respectively; however, the rooms can be combined for a total space of 60 sqm and a guest count of up to 50. Smart TVs for seamless presentation and discussion make these spaces ideal for board meetings, presentations, and workshops. The Executive Boardroom is suitable for meetings of up to 11 people, while our VIP Boardroom fits 14; both are 20 sqm and appropriate for small workshops and critical meetings.
Culturally immersive themed coffee breaks and dinners highlight Vietnamese specialty experiences, from local market fare to chef specials.
Restaurant & Bars
Home to four inspired food and beverage concepts that have a treat for every craving, Grand Mercure Hanoi’s lobby lounge, Văn’s, is an excellent place for coffee, high tea, wine, or whisky with business associates or friends. The all-day dining destination Lộc-ally is at the confluence of local and international cuisines, a true journey of flavour and cooking styles. Vivu, the rooftop sky bar, shares an intimate space with the swimming pool and serves delicious bites and masterful cocktails no matter the time of day. Cát Vị is the soul of the hotel, serving immaculate Asian fusion meals and experiences diners won’t soon forget.
Heavily inspired by local culinary culture and combining it with modern cooking techniques and presentation, each of the four outlets serve flavour and brilliance in every sip or bite.
Location & Access
Located near the central business area (CBD),
Grand Mercure Hanoi is the ideal base from which to explore shopping malls,
galleries, kids’ attractions, and downtown entertainment after a busy day of touring
or meetings. Several embassies, government buildings, and prominent
universities are situated within Dong Da District, granting guests easy access
for high-profile meetings or campus visits.
In addition to overlooking the historic
Temple of Literature, the hotel’s rooftop bar Vivu sits above Hang Day Stadium, home to several of the country’s most prominent football
clubs. Rather than rub elbows with the stadium’s potential 22,000 spectators,
Vivu is a perfect nest from which to enjoy the game at a comfortable and
advantageous distance.
